Native Hawaiian Plant Society (NHPS)

NHPS was founded in 1980 by Rene Sylva to foster native Hawaiian plants through hands-on propagation, preserveration, restoration and education. To further these goals, NHPS has monthly service trips, usually the second Saturday, invited speakers in October and February, and participates in outreach events like Arbor Day, the Haiku Flower Festival, and Ulupalakua Cares. We have a website at http://www.nativehawaiianplantsociety.org.
